About Us

Beechville Lane is an online gift hamper service specialising in only quality, iconic Australian brands. This means products in our hampers are either designed, owned, or made in Australia, and we feature only books written by Australian authors.

Our family-based Brisbane business truly began with the creation of the Aussie New Mummy Box – a gift hamper for newborn babies and their mums – which has continued to gain popularity across the country since its inception in early 2020.

Our customers enjoy being able to gift useful items delivered straight to the recipient’s door. Equally, our hampers are a delight for recipients to receive: The quality gifts are presented in a recycled tissue-lined cardboard box, tied with mint raffia ribbon. Regardless of the hamper size, the receiver experiences an “unboxing” as they pull each quality item out of the box.

To keep with the Aussie theme, we try to name our online hampers after Australian sayings, animals, locations, or landmarks. Hampers are shipped Australia-wide, using Australia Post tracking.

We hope you enjoy gifting our hampers as much as we've enjoyed creating them. 💙

The team

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and the same can be said for running a successful hamper business like Beechville Lane. Accountant Rob and his sister-in-law, content writer Hayley, run the business with the help of family and other employees who are also parents.

Both Hayley and Rob dreamt of creating an online service which would fill a niche in the market and support Australian jobs and the economy as much as possible. Being an online business means they can also be contactable to customers “outside of sleeping hours” and still work around family life, which was another business aim. It is of upmost importance to them that flexibility around parent/carer life is achievable for all team members.

Our name

Beechville Lane is the name of the first house Rob ever lived in, and the word “beechville” comes from the famous “beech tree” varieties which are found in Australia and in other parts of the world. To us the name represents homes, communities, and people – and that is essentially the heart of all we do.
